Golden Hour /\\//\ AU // Future
Apr. 15th, 2013 08:40 pm1. The Golden Hour is still active, although still struggling and attempting to recover. There is less of an Adept/Neophyte relationship, due to the wildly different proportions of the two, and instead Neophytes are organized into classes taught by the Adepts willing to teach them.
2. Much to his horror if he thinks on it too long, Rowan is now the Magister Dam. Mostly because there was no one else to step up to the job when it opened.
3. He is also married, to a minor Aronine cousin named Emmeline. Her and her brother were part of one of the Aronine lines that lost in the inter-family war. They lost their parents and lived on the pity of the primary Aronine family as a tutor and a nanny.
4. They have five children. Three were planned, two were surprises. The two oldest, two years apart, are Jonquil (female) and Gentian (male). They are Adepts of the Golden Hour, but left to go on adventures shortly after graduation and show up once a year or so to drop off their loot and run off again. The two middle are twins, Luc(erne) (male) and Mari(gold) (female). Luc is quiet, brooding, and often worried. Mari is calm, the most delicate and polite of all the children, and incredibly unexpected considering her namesakes. The youngest is Rose, who is bright and friendly and much younger than her siblings.
5. Rowan spoils them insanely. No one is surprised. He also believes they take after one element each: Jon is fire, Gen is air, Luc is earth, Mari is water, and Rose is spirit.

Golden Hour /\\//\
Apr. 15th, 2013 07:58 pm1. Rowan is an Adept of the Golden Hour. He falls somewhere between the Medical Wing and the Botany Wing, as he studies poisonous plants and their antidotes. Considering recent events, he associates himself far more with the Botany side of the Hour.
2. He is a giant vain sarcastic cranky pants.
3. He is the youngest of four children, and the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
4. Rowan is his mother's favorite and his father's least favorite.
5. Despite his research into poison, the side-effect of knowing how to effectively kill someone, and being a sarcastic cranky pants, Rowan is surprisingly moral and non-violent.
6. He really does not like the Citadel. <- massive understatement.
7. He is in love with Lucia. He won't tell her that, though.
8. He has little ambition. However, thanks to the issues of the Golden Hour and their current survival rate, he has been pushed into senior/responsible Adept role at a young age and there is a decent chance he could be Magister.
9. The Aronines terrify him.
10. He dislikes dogs.
